ExperiencePhilosophy Preferred Management Corporation was incorporated in 1987 by a group of health care veterans who together have over 80 years of experience in rural and community hospital management. This experience ranges from on site administration to group managed hospitals, both in the not for profit and proprietary arenas. The group joined together as a result of philosophical agreement that health care management should exist to serve the hospital and act in the best interest of patients, community, medical staffs, boards of directors, and the staff. From this philosophy comes the Mission Statement of Preferred which details the commitment that hospital management should be local, should be professional, and should be beneficial to all concerned, including the management company. After a decade of successful operation, Preferred Management Corporation currently manages hospitals in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Missouri. All of Preferred’s client hospitals have less than 100 beds and allow the corporation and its staff to achieve their original goal and to continue to develop expertise in this specific niche within health care. |
