Megan Cody, MPH,
Megan focuses on the management, monitoring and evaluation of the 1115 Waiver projects at Preferred affiliated hospitals, as well as their Chronic Care Management programs. These functions serve to expand services available to our patients, and enhance revenue generation opportunities.
She also coordinates hospital grant applications, reporting and compliance. Previously, Megan worked for the Texas Department of Agriculture’s State Office of Rural Health to help improve access to and quality of healthcare in rural areas of the state through special state and federal funding programs and was responsible for compliance with state and federal policy directives.
“I am excited to work with the staff of our hospitals to pursue funding opportunities and monitor compliance. Working with Preferred allows me to use my experience and education to directly benefit the rural communities that I have worked to support throughout my career.”
